I love the Fleurieu and I love coffee. So let’s combine them! Here are some of the BEST coffee spots on the Fleurieu.
Enjoy x
1. 21 Junk Street :: 84 Main Street, Yankalilla
Combing two of our fave things — coffee and vintage furniture – 21 Junk Street is the bomb! They make a mean latte as well as killer toasties and cakes, and even sell recycled furniture so you may even leave with a new addition for the home.

2. The Green Room :: 2 High Street, Willunga
Vegos, vegans and coffee lovers, if you find yourself in Willunga this is a must have on your foodie list. The Green Room is a casual affair, selling healthy and hearty breakfasts and lunches, as well as equally excellent coffees. It’s suited for families with a large outdoor area perfect for the little tackers, as well as a huge indoor and patio seating area out the front. They also stock insanely good (and healthy) cakes that go perfectly with a coffee, as well as delicious pancakes that you must try!
3. Dawn Patrol Coffee Roasters :: Days Road, Kangarilla
A cellar door with a twist- this one’s all about coffee. With tastings of espresso, the boys at Dawn Patrol will give you a whole new coffee experience that will excite even the most experienced coffee drinker. The cellar door is at the rear of their property and is filled with ample seating indoor and out where you can enjoy a brew and a range of homemade sweets (the waffles and the cheesecake are to die for).
4. The Fleurieu Pantry + Store :: 20 Gawler Street, Port Noarlunga
Health conscious foodies unite. If you’re looking for incredible food, ethical products, organic fruit and veg and coffee in beautiful cups then get to The Fleurieu Pantry in Port Noarlunga. They are all about supporting local, which includes using Villere coffee that’s roasted on the Fleurieu.

5. Viscous Coffee :: 27A Beach Road, Christies Beach
Specialty beans roasted in house, a range of brews that will blow your mind and all run by a man who is incredibly dedicated to his art. The perfect place for coffee connoisseurs and those who just love a perfect latte. It offers a small and intimate space for ‘drinking in’, but in my opinion it is best ordered takeaway to be enjoyed beach side or the nearby park.
6. The Golden Fleece Café :: Shop 1/30 High Street, Willunga
Boasting a warm and comforting interior with infectiously happy personalities behind the counter, The Golden Fleece is surrounded by the likes of Four Winds Chocolate and The Spock Sisters. The fleece is packed on the weekends, with everyone from lycra clad cyclists to visitors from the markets. Their coffees are strong, the breakfasts are massive (and affordable) and they have a mean cake selection.
7. Maxwells Grocery :: 11 Old Coach Road, Aldinga
Organic, community minded and a true hidden gem. Maxwells grocery sits along side some new and exciting ventures (Miss Gladys, Roseys + Home grain Bakery to name a few) that are putting Aldinga back on the map. They also do a mean chai seed pudding, wakefield grange burgers and a raw cakes donned with violets. A must visit for foodies!

8. Jetty Food Store :: 42 North Terrace, Port Elliot
If local produce, artisan products and good coffee are your thing then you have yourself a winner. Jetty Food Store is filled to the brim with organic fruit and vegetables sourced from local farmers, as well as plenty of other products from the region. They offer a small selection of food to eat in store that go down perfectly with their coffee – think a homemade zesty lemon slice that will appeal to every sweet lover.
9. Roseys Cafe :: 206 Port Road, Aldinga
Unley Roads favourite coffee haunt has moved into Aldinga and locals couldn’t be more excited. Rosey’s Cafe dishes out the most incredible coffees along side a huge breakfast and lunch menu. If long brunches are your thing then you will not be disappointed. Experienced baristas will make your coffee so well that you won’t even think about spooning sugar in your cup- they have converted me that’s for sure! Rosey’s also has a large outdoor area perfect for kids and a varied menu catering for even the fussiest of eaters.
10. From Humble Grounds :: Willunga Farmers Market, Willunga
This little coffee cart holds a huge place in my heart. Every Saturday you will find Rebecca, Rob and the team tucked away in the Willunga Farmers Market dishing out the best brews from locally roasted beans. They are all served in takeaway cups but the stand is surrounded by plenty of milk crates and brightly coloured seating for those who want a break from the hustle of the market. On hot days they also stock iced coffees- perfect!

Great list. Personal faves though which I’ll add to the list are The Cottage Bakery in McLaren Vale (Kommon Grounds coffee) and 3 Monkey’s in Willunga. Both serve delicious coffee!
Thanks for reminding me of sonnet great spots. I think you would appreciate a newish coffee place in or Elliot called De Groot. Worth checking out and adding to the list:)
No mention of DeGroots at Factory 9, Port Elliot. Probably just as well, we’ll keep it a secret!
Hi
Yeah DeGroots is amazing! The best!
Looking forward to trying some off the list too though.
Thanks
My coffee fix must have is 3 Monkeys ? in Willunga. Love the list, some places to check out.
You need at add the South Seas bookshop, North Terrace, Port Elliot!
You missed Southbound Diner in Normanville. Fantastic food and coffee and great friendly staff
Great article, I live in the region & must say I’m surprised not to see Dee Groot coffee roasters (port Elliot) & Qawha coffee roasters (Victor Harbour) not listed.
My husband and I have started a tea and coffee shop called ‘WOOD RUSTIC ROASTERY’ in Victor Harbor. We are located in Ocean Street near the Victa Cinema. You can find us on facebook too. We would love to see you there!
Port Elliot’s ‘Walter Melon’ definitely needs to be on this list! 58 North Terrace, opposite the book shop. Great coffee and food ??.
DeGroots is great but so is Walter Melon. Awesome coffee and food.
I can’t believe deGroots isn’t on the list. But agree, let’s keep it a secret!
