Before I had my own dog, I used to be a bit of a creep and hang out at dog parks just to get my pooch fix. I also used to go to HARK Coffee Roasters in Malvern, reasons (almost equally) being their great coffee AND getting to pat their resident giant groodle ‘Pilot’, who would plod around and greet each patron like a well trained pony.
There’s something really wholesome about a venue that makes your much loved pet feel welcome, don’t you think?
The time finally came recently for my family to stop being creepy and have a legitimate reason to be at our local dog park. We adopted a gorgeous pup called Dougal (check out his Insta here) from Dusty Paws Dog Rescue, and he has very quickly become a much loved and significant part of our family.
