5 WAYS CO-WORKING WILL SEE YOUR BUSINESS SOAR

1. IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY

Co-working memberships can be a deductible expense to your business (please note the word ‘can’, make sure you chat to your accountant to see if this is right for your business!). Compare that to the additional electricity, water, internet use, consumables and wear and tear on items while working at home, and it becomes extremely cost effective. A co-working desk is also a great option in comparison to the costs associated with your own external office. At Sass Place, you have access to boardrooms, meeting rooms and all electricity, internet, and supplies (you would be amazed at the amount of toilet paper a female co-working space goes through — hehe!)

2. IT OPENS DOORS FOR COLLABORATIONS + OPPORTUNITY

It’s amazing the new ideas and innovation that can come just from meeting someone in a co-working space! Everyone there is genuinely interested in your business and with a whole heap of entrepreneurial minds in the one space, you can just imagine the sorts of ideas, referrals and even job offers that come up in a conversation that probably started just from a chat about the need for a coffee that day!

3. YOU NO LONGER FEEL LONELY

Being at home on your own with only the dog, cat or 2-year old to chat to about your business can be lonely. It’s easy to get stuck in your head, or get held up with decision making. It’s amazing the things you can learn from being around others too. Chats about the best planner for your business, how to get that wordpress plugin to work and brainstorming ideal clients are all conversations I have heard around Sass Place. (I have a Dalmatian that can talk, but even she cant’t help me with that!

With so many online forums and Facebook groups, it can be easy to stay behind the computer. But the benefits of face to face contact with real people should not be forgotten. The ability to connect on a whole new level can happen there, and when people get to know you for who you are and not just your profile pic or your business name, they are more likely to remember you when it comes to needing your product or service! Hello Referrals & Business growth!

4. YOU’RE SURROUNDED BY SUPPORT

If you’re having a rough day, there is always someone there to ask for help or have a debrief over a coffee. Co-working gives you a community that has your back. They are there to cheer you on when you have a win (there have been happy dances and high fives at Sass Place many times!) and there are arms ready to give you a hug when things get tough (because that happens too!). The business journey is bloody hard (and many new businesses cease within the first 5 years), but the right support and tribe around you will help you on your road to success.

5. YOU WORK MORE EFFICIENTLY

There is something about getting out of your PJ’s, in the car and to a space that is made for you to work. The mindset shift and that of those around you (no more friends just popping by to say hi because you’re home!) can lead to getting an astronomical amount of work done. And you are inspired by others who are there doing the same!

If you’re now wondering, “SERIOUSLY why haven’t I started co-working sooner??” (I know right, it’s pretty awesome!!), then quick, get in touch with me (Carly) at Sass Place! We will welcome you with open arms — and coffee!
