As a wise woman (Carrie Bradshaw) once said “I like my money right where I can see it, hanging in my closet.” Funny, because it’s kind of true!

Let’s not beat around the bush — clothes make us happy! And so does supporting local businesses. So, we teamed up with our beautiful friend and superstar event extraordinaire Jenna (creator of Gathered Design Markets), to combine our passions and build the best event this winter — The Adelady and Gathered Fashion Market!

For seven years, Gathered Design Market has built up a strong tribe of loyal fans —both on social media and in person — and is now SA’s most anticipated design market, holding fabulous events four times a year. So with her event’s brain and our heads neck-deep in fashion, it’s the perfect combination.

From 10am to 4pm on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of August, we will be putting all of our fave SA fashion labels and boutiques under one roof at the Queen’s Theatre. With up to 60 stalls full of local and Australian designers, this market will be fashion focused, showcasing clothes, hats, handbags, shoes, jewellery, accessories and cosmetics.

And what goes perfectly with shopping? Food and bevvies! There will be food and drink stalls serving up local gin and wine, tasty food and, of course, coffee.

The Adelady + Gathered Fashion Market will be Covid safe and we will be making sure we are keeping in line with all Covid rules and regulations to make sure this event is safe and sound.

So, here’s the low-down…

Where? The Queen’s Theatre, Playhouse Lane, off Light Square

When? 10am- 4pm, August 7 + 8, 2021

Entry fee? It’s $5 entry with part proceeds donated to our dog-loving locals, Paws For Change.

Parking? Easy, right across the road is $4 all-day parking

Coffee? Of course! We don’t just have one coffee cart, we have two! From the moment you walk in, the legends at Frank’s Coffee and Brasilia will be brewing their 10/10 coffees, just the way you like it.

Bevvies? Hell yes! Chesterfield Whisky Firm will be selling scrumptious cocktails and you can sip on your fave XO Wine Co. wine and Pawsecco bubbles too.
