If you love coffee, industrial spaces and beautiful blooms then you are going to love this cafe.

First Order Coffee is a new cafe in Adelaide, hidden in Ifould street in the WOTSO workspace. It takes up the sunny corner of the room, offering huge glass windows and plenty of seating.

Everything about this place is charming — the locally made crockery, bright coloured artwork and plenty of blooms, it all just works.

One of the best bits for me is that it overlooks the space where my favourite florist, Austin Bloom, calls home. Drinking coffee and a view of fresh flowers all day, yes please!

In terms of drinks, these guys offer Elementary coffee roasted in Adelaide, as well as a range of teas and one mean chai latte.

If you’re after a softer option (soft drink that is), they stock Fentimans Botancially Brewed bevvys. Their Rose Lemonade is so damn good.

As for the menu, it’s short and sweet, but doesn’t need to be long when you see what’s on there. Semolina porridge with poached pear, pretzel buns, sandwiches filled with roast broccolini and bacon and the First Order plate, with smoked wagu, boiled egg, relish and pickles  — it’s ALL great! They also have a cake cabinet that’s filled to the brim with homemade baked goods.

If you’re looking for somewhere for your next caffeine hit, or just want lunch in a charming space, then get lost on Ifould Street at First Order Coffee. I’m sure you’ll fall head over heels in love like me.
