You should never ask a girl her age but let me tell you — it’s been quite a few years since I finished my uni degree. Since then, among many things, I’ve travelled the country doing radio, had two delicious bubbas and started a business with my favourite girl, Lauren!

To be honest, we started Adelady knowing close to nothing. I couldn’t even find the ON switch to my computer and Lauren struggled to spell the word CAT. But man have we grown along the way.

But it’s never too late to learn more. Our “business” minds have expanded in ways I didn’t think was possible for two creative pineapples. And as we grow our brand and our business, we need to keep learning, innovating and always be one step ahead. Which is easier for me than it is for Lauren — because I’m 4 foot taller than she is.

Jokes aside, we packed our school lunches and headed off to TAFE SA to do a short course and expand our minds and learn all there is about the future in Digital Marketing

Now, before I go on — we’re time-poor (like most Adeladies), so we needed to pick a short course that we could do in ONE DAY. That’s right, after 8 hours of learning, we left with a certificate! And yes, we learnt so much more about digital marketing and growing our brand than we’d ever imagined.

That’s the beauty of TAFE SA’s short courses — you can try as many as you  like multiple short courses, depending on which area of your beautiful mind you want to refresh or expand your beautiful mind in. Whether it’s for fun, like the Cheese Making Course, or for work, like Digital Marketing, there really is something for everyone!

The thing I loved most about our course is that the majority of students were above over the age of 25 and were there because they wanted to be there — not because they had to. So, it’s fair to say by the end of the day we’d met  made a classroom full of new friends.

For a list of short TAFE SA short courses, head over HERE. And on a personal note, a massive thanks to our amazing lecturer, Rubina for being the best teacher ever! We can’t wait to go back to TAFE SA.
