Wine and pasta = happiness.
Over the weekend I fell in love. Being Italian, the way to my heart is through my stomach. Wait, isn’t that the way to a man’s heart? Anyway, minor details. I spent the weekend at Chapel Hill Retreat and my God, it was amazing!
This is the perfect SA weekend away for wine and cheese lovers!
We took part in a pasta-making cooking class, stayed the night in the most luxurious room and woke up to have breakfast cooked for us by our own personal chef. To top it all off, this was followed by a vineyard tour and a wine tasting, paired with cured meats and cheese. See, I told you this was the dream!

The man who runs the Cellar Door is a genius. He taught us how to mix and match wines with different cheeses to actually change the taste of the wine – Brilliant! What a rad job he has — Chapel Hill are you hiring?
Besides having to undo the top button of my jeans, I had such a fab time meeting a bunch of new people and cooking an absolute feast. I also bonded with my friend over deep-frying cheese ravioli, when the cheese fell out into the deep fryer, so it was more like cheese ravioli, minus the cheese, ha!
Chapel Hill Retreat, doesn’t just do pasta-making courses, there are a bunch of different classes to choose from.
It’s the gift you buy newly-weds, your parents, your lover or the person that has everything. It’s an experience that I absolutely loved and am so glad that I can share it with all our Adeladies.
