I don’t know about you, but I struggle with motivation to exercise by myself. It’s so much easier and LOADS more fun when you get to work out with a group of friends!

Let me introduce you to Sportivore Social Sports Hub! Throughout August and September, they are offering a new and exciting way to play social sports on a casual basis in the City. CASUAL being the stand out word for me. Yep, you can pick and choose when you play!

Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Touch Football will be held in a number of locations in the city.

All you have to do is simply register with and join an upcoming game that interests you.

Oh, and because social sports are all about “socialising” , they also host social gatherings after the game — often supported by local venues with free drinks or nibbles upon arrival. What a great way to meet people and make new friends!

Players receive an email with all the game details when they Join a Game with a confirmation email sent 4 hours prior to the game starting. The confirmation email confirms we have enough players for a game and that weather conditions are reasonable. At this point your Sportivore wallet is debited the game fee. Sportivore take care of the rest, providing Balls, Uniforms, and Fun.

How Much: Game fees range from FREE to $10 and are made via Paypal. Currently Sportivore are offering $11 FREE credit for every new player who adds $7 to their Sportivore wallet. $7 + $11 FREE = $18 credit. Promotions, new sports and FREE events will be held throughout the winter months so check in regularly to the Website or Facebook page to keep up to date with all the opportunities.

Sportivore Social Sports Hub is supported by Splash Adelaide — an Adelaide City Council project bringing the City’s streets and spaces to life through a series of community initiated and run urban experiments.
