Maree Stoubos is the owner and creator of Adelaide’s leading lifestyle public relations agency, the newly branded Girl About Town. In 2008, Maree was offered the dream position — a public relations internship in New York City with high-end fashion designer, Brian Reyes. Working with the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker (squeal!), Jessica Biel and The OC’s Rachel Bilson. I’m getting jealous just writing this — she worked with CARRIE BRADSHAW!
While doing her internship, she experienced every girl’s dream — New York Fashion Week! Maree learnt the key principles of public relations, sales and marketing, and event management. She left New York with a fire in her belly to become the best in the communications industry and bringing all her knowledge back home to Adelaide.

In April 2014, Maree took the next step in her career by launching her own PR agency, Girl About Town. With an extensive client base under her belt and a slick brand new black and white brand, she’s now the “It Girl” in Adelaide’s PR world!

1. Fave place for breakfast
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of breakfast or coffee — very strange I know, especially for someone who works in PR! But, I’d much prefer going out for lunch or dinner (where you can have wine). In saying that, when my friends opt for breakfast outings, I can’t go past East Terrace Continental or A Mother’s Milk. They both do delicious breakfasts.

2. Fave place for a cocktail
Now this is more my style! My current favourite would have to be Little Miss Dive Shop, where I’m guaranteed a delicious tropical beverage and some awesome tunes. They do $3 Hotdogs and cheap Sangria all night for Weiner Wednesdays! I also love Laneway Bar and Republic.

3. Fave place to go clothes shopping
This is a hard one as I am a bit of a shopaholic! But if I had to choose my top three, they’d be: David Jones, Azalia Boutique or BNKR.

4. Fave hairdresser
I love Hair Artistique! They are the best at everything — styling, colours, blowdries, you name it! They know what suits me and I always leave feeling so happy and fresh!

5. Fave place to go out for dinner
Going out for dinner is one of my favourite pasttimes, especially trying new places. Adelaide has so many great pop-up bars, cafes and restaurants. At the moment, my favourite hot spots are Sushi Planet, Etica, The Curious Squire and of course, Good Life Pizza.
