A waterfall doesn’t happen with one drop. You need lots of drops to make a BIG splash! And that’s exactly what three friends Emma, Holly and Kellie have done. They quit their day jobs and created emkho, which is now Adelaide’s premier styling group! Anyone who can combine three names in one business title, has my vote!
With creative backgrounds, shared business minds, and the ability to be completely upfront and honest with each other, the girls thought what a perfect idea, “Let’s take a risk and start our own event styling business.” The risk has definitely paid off. The business has grown steadily and a couple of delicious babies have been born since.
Along with their incredible team member Courtney and their amazing event assistants, the emkho team love to create super stylish and unique events that take great style to the next level!

Their ability to style weddings, hens days, birthday parties, corporate events and even kids’ parties is BEYOND amazing – just look at their website and you’ll see what I mean! It’s ridic.
We love a girl boss x THREE! They’re school friends, living the dream. That’s why this week, the team at emkho are our Inspirational Adeladies. And I think the most stylish ones we’ve had yet.

Private Properties are our FAVOURITE but… we love the incredible heritage listed homestead and magnificent surroundings of Kingsford Homestead, Paxton Vineyards has beautiful views and is incredibly versatile and Coriole has that gorgeous, intimate cottage garden feel.

Published Arthouse for it’s size, the cool graffiti art and versatility. Golding Wines for the pretty winery experience while still having a great indoor space that fits a good-sized group and Tenth & Gibson for the true warehouse experience. We’re also big fans of using non-traditional venues for smaller group events – wedding at 2KW? Yes PLEASE!
