At Glen Ewin Estate, you will discover everything there is to know about figs. Walk through the fig tree orchard guided by one of the family members who will provide you with some history and information about figs. Enjoy a lunch at the Cellar Door Restaurant, where you will taste their fig leaf spaghetti dish and a fig gin affogato. Next on the agenda is a nature-based wellness experience in Belair National Park, near Adelaide. Forest bathing, or being in the presence of trees, is a Japanese practice known as ‘shinrin-yoku’ that has been proven to boost the immune system, decrease stress, and lower blood pressure. Resident nature therapist, Deborah, will guide you through this therapeutic experience, helping you to relax and connect with the natural world via mindfulness, slow walking, grounding, and embracing your different senses.
