Lately, we’ve been dreaming of cruising, and according to our friends at Phil Hoffmann Travel, we’re not the only ones!

Cruising is growing in popularity, and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down anytime soon. With our own Mediterranean cruise booked for later this year (yippee!), we decided to find out more about why people LOVE cruising so much… turns out, there’s a lot to love!

Seasoned cruisers will tell you one of their favourite things about holidaying on a ship is the convenience of unpacking once, and once only. When you settle into your cabin, you can sit back and relax, knowing you don’t have to worry about packing and unpacking every time you move to a new destination.

Itineraries can include multiple cities or countries, so each day you get to experience a new destination without the hassle of planning transportation. Cruising is travel made easy!

From Broadway style shows to comedy clubs and live music, there’s always something to keep you entertained on board. For families, you’ll find most cruises have kids’ clubs, but they go further than that! Mini golf, table tennis, basketball, trivia, rock climbing, waterslides, even go- karts and sky-diving simulators… you name it and we’ll show you a cruise that has it!

One of the most refreshing things about cruising is that your accommodation, most meals and entertainment are all included in your fare, and drinks packages can be pre-purchased so you don’t have to spend a cent on board. Depending on which cruise line you choose, some will even have your drinks included! It makes for a stress-free holiday, knowing that you’re not blowing the budget with unexpected costs along the way.

We’re all about good food, and on a cruise, there’s plenty of it! With a wide choice of dining options from casual cafes and eateries to the ever-popular international à la carte, specialty restaurants and menus curated by world- class chefs, you’re spoilt for choice. Get ready to undo that top button!

We’re so excited to cruise the Mediterranean later this year, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it when we get back. Until then, if you’re looking for some cruise inspo, go see the experts at Phil Hoffmann Travel or visit their website.
