We’ve got a new stop to add to your Yorke Peninsula itinerary.

Jewellery stores have always been a special place, where memories are made, special moments are celebrated and future family heirlooms are born. But the story behind Kadina Jewellers is extra heartwarming, because it’s the tale of some talented South Australians coming together.

THE HISTORY

In 2009, husband and wife Lisa Robertson and Mark Northcott, along with Lisa’s father Trevor, opened a jewellery store called Leading Edge Jewellers. With over 50 years’ experience between them, their store was a success — and then they met the Russacks.

Russacks Jewellers was also a familyowned and operated business that had been selling exquisite jewellery for over 90 years, with watchmaker Mark Russack and his wife Leanne Russack at the helm. Instead of seeing each other as competition, the Northcott family and the Russack family joined forces to become Kadina Jewellers.

After adding one final piece to the puzzle, with store manager Charlotte Barker also becoming an owner, this business now has friends and family at the heart of everything they do.

THE FUTURE

If you’re on the other side of the state, you’re in luck! Kadina Jewellers have taken their magic over to wine country, by partnering with R&B Sutherland Jewellers, to form Clare Valley Jewellers.

R&B Sutherland Jewellers was started by Jeweller Roger Sutherland and his late wife, Bev, over 40 years ago. So now, you’ll be able to buy a little piece of their magic when you next travel through Clare!

And if a road trip isn’t on the cards, you can always jump on their website and shop online.

THE JEWELLERY

Both Kadina Jewellers and Clare Valley Jewellers have it all! Each location is a full service jeweller, providing watch, clock and jewellery repairs and services, plus truly unique custom designs from Lisa and Roger. Their huge range of classic and modern jewellery, watches, clocks and giftware, as well as brands such as Pandora, is available in both stores.

THE EXPERIENCE

Once you step inside these doors, you’ll feel like you’ve been enveloped in a big hug! The Kadina Jewellers and Clare Valley Jewellers teams will help you find what you need, whether that’s a simple repair or a big decision on a special piece.

The quality is unmatched and the vast price range means that no matter your position, you’ll find the perfect fit for you. From a simple yet classic $50 bracelet, to an incredible $10,000 sapphire, the experience is more than half the fun! You’ll also get to choose between natural or lab-grown diamonds. When looking at a $12,000 lab-grown diamond against a $65,000 natural diamond, you’d be hard pressed to spot the difference!

The next time you’re road tripping to Kadina, or passing through the Clare Valley, go and get yourself a special little sparkle and a warm hug from the families behind this exceptional SA biz.
