Unleashing Unley Road’s newest bar… with a twist!

You see, this is not your usual “I’ll have a G & T, please!” bar. This bar doubles up as a hair salon. Say what?! Blow Out Style & Bar specialises in gram-worthy blow-drys and hair styling while also serving up scrumptious bubbles, cocktails, mocktails, wine, tea and coffee. The only way this new biz could get better in my books is if someone was massaging my feet at the same time.

Inside, it’s all chic and glamour. The music is pumping and the stylists buzz around making you feel right at home, which is exactly what owner Michelle was aiming for.

“The whole concept came about after nine years of being at home with the kids, and like lots of mums, all I dreamed about was going to a hair salon where I could get a fresh blow-dry and a glass of bubbles at the same time,” Michelle explains. “We want to provide women with an hour where we look after you, instead of you doing the looking after.”

But it’s not just their styling skills that make the Blow Out Style & Bar a cut above the rest. Their menu of services is packed with add ons and extra treats that will leave you with options galore. Whether you’re in the mood for a bouncy Farrah Fawcett wave or a sleek and sophisticated up-do, they’ll make you feel like a million bucks.

They also offer all the extras, including extra-long head massages and specialised hair treatments. Michelle and her awesome team want to treat you to an hour of indulgence and leave you looking and feeling good!

And it gets better — light snacks are on the ever-changing menu. “My background is hospitality, so my role is to be behind the bar, serving our wonderful clients coffee, juices, cocktails, toasted croissants and little platters.”
