Bank Street Social opened up in 2014, so it’s still a relatively new kid on the block. Located off of the corner of Hindley and Bank Streets, you make your way down stairs to the industrial looking bar. There are pendant lights everywhere and you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. It’s not a super cheap place to drink but it’s a little bit fancy so I’m happy to spend a bit more cash.

The thing I like most about Bank Street, is on Friday and Saturday nights when bars can be a bit rowdy, you can actually still hear your friends because of their great layout. At one end, there’s heaps of seating and you can hear the music but it isn’t at eardrum bursting levels. Or, if you want to dance the night away you can head to the other end where it’s more pumping. This is a great space and somewhere I keep coming back to. Definitely worth checking out.
